Being opened 24/7 means a physician is available to diagnose and treat chest pain, an acute stroke, broken bones, kidney stones, appendicitis, or any other critical health needs always. This is why we have no wait!
My Emergency Room 24/7 is a state-of-the-art facility that offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic services, including on-site X-rays, CT scans, ultrasound testing, EKG testing, and in-house lab testing. It also houses a class F pharmacy for quick, convenient care. As a full-service practice, we can offer admission to local hospitals when needed. We also provide observation services.
Meet Our Physician
DR. JOHN TURNER, MD
Dr. Turner is an emergency medicine physician who currently owns and operates several ERs and urgent cares in San Marcos, Boerne and Abilene.
He began his training in Austin with the Family Medicine Residency Program way way back in 2001.
The draw of emergency room medicine, however, caught him in 2006 and he has been a full-time emergency physician ever since.
He absconded with his gorgeous wife from New Mexico in 2009 and since then has added 2 beautiful adopted baby boys over the last several years.
He enjoys spending time flying around Texas in a small single engine airplane. Texas sunsets are his favorite and are best enjoyed on the back patio with his wife and kids. One last thing, Hook Em Horns!
